"Re:looking - A Sensory Art Guide"

The Haeden Museum offers a permanent wellness program titled Re:looking - A Sensory Art Guide, designed to slow down the appreciation process and redefine the experience of art.

This initiative emphasizes 'how you see' rather than 'what you saw.' It invites participants to immerse themselves in the time spent with the artwork, moving away from fast-paced consumption of images and information.

"Re:looking - A Sensory Art Guide" is an art-based wellness program that encourages visitors to discover their own rhythm of appreciation by decelerating their gaze and redirecting their senses to the artwork.

Instead of explaining the artwork, the program focuses on the approach to engaging with it, creating an experiential environment through elements such as silence, stillness, distance, and breathing.

After the docent's presentation, a cup of tea will be served. Take this moment to reflect on the lingering effects of your experience while enjoying your tea.

The program is held in the Haeden Museum's exhibition space, with potential adjustments based on the layout and featured works of the exhibition.
